Kawartha Dairy is proud to have been a 100% Canadian-owned and operated company for over 80 years. In 1937, Jack and Ila Crowe founded the business in Bobcaygeon, Ontario, where the Dairy remains headquartered. 
 
Today, Kawartha Dairy operates 10 retail stores and services a wide range of wholesale customers, from major chain retail outlets and food service establishments to family-run grocery stores and ice cream parlours. 

Kawartha Dairy processes millions of litres of raw milk from local dairy farmers into nutritious milk and premium ice cream products. The Dairy has grown significantly over the last decade, currently employing over 170 full-time employees, with plans to create nearly 50 new full-time jobs by 2025. 
 
Recently, Kawartha Dairy completed its largest expansion project to date: a 54,000 square-foot refrigeration and distribution facility located in their hometown of Bobcaygeon.
