ENCOURAGING COMPANIES TO CREATE JOB OPPORTUNITIES IN VIRGINIA

The Virginia Economic Development Incentive Grant (VEDIG) is providing $4M to encourage organizations to invest and create job opportunities in Virginia.

Eligible Projects

Locating or relocating the following operations to Virginia on a significant level may qualify for this program.

• Company Headquarters
• Administrative office
• Service sector

Project Eligibility

Eligible projects require:

• A capital investment of $5 million or $6,500 per job (whichever is greater)
• A job creation thresholds ranging between 200-400 depending on the population of the locality
