Canada Cultural Spaces Fund
The Canada Cultural Spaces Fund (CCSF) aims to support the arts, heritage, culture and creative innovation through physical needs such as equipment, renovation, and construction projects. The intention of the CCSF is to invest in local creative hubs because they provide Canadian creative talent with access to shared space, equipment and other resources needed to develop skills which will lead to success in and contribution to the creative economy.
- Up to 50% of project costs can be covered to a maximum of $1.5M.
Ontario Trillium Foundation
The Ontario Trillium Foundation offers three grant streams aimed to help communities thrive: the Seed Grant, the Grow Grant, and the Capital Grant. The Capital grant is designed to provide financial assistance to organizations that plan to improve community infrastructure. Up to $150,000 is available per applicant. The goals of this grant include:
- Enhance access to community spaces, programs, activities and services, and facilitate community members’ full participation in the life of the community
- Enhance and build community spaces
- Enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of programs
- Make better use of technological resources
Municipal Asset Management Program
The Municipal Asset Management Program (MAMP) aims to provide support to Canadian Municipalities through the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) by providing funds to help make informed infrastructure investment decisions based on sound asset management practices. It will enable municipalities to access the data needed to plan effectively.
- Up to 90% of project costs to a maximum of $50,000 is available.
Improving Connectivity for Ontario (ICON) Program
The Improving Connectivity for Ontario (ICON) program aims improve broadband and cellular coverage across Ontario, particularly those communities who have little to no access. ICON intends to promote industry partnerships and cross sector investments to encourage new solutions for creating better connected communities.
- Up to 25% of project costs can be covered through the ICON Program.
- The deadline is August 21, 2020
