We made the quick decision last week to send our team of Funding Specialists and associates to work from their home offices. We are fortunate that most of our activities can be modified to work remotely, and, therefore, all business activities are continuing as usual.
GrantMatch is closely monitoring several sources for updates pertaining to the government’s economic response to COVID-19. On Friday, March 13, 2020, the Federal government announced steps being taken to support the Canadian economy in these uncertain times. While Canada’s financial sector remains sound, the government has established the Business Credit Availability Program (BCAP) to further support private sector financing of businesses.
Further support at the federal level will be communicated in the coming weeks, with the provinces and territories likely to follow suit in due time. GrantMatch remains vigilant in our commitment to provide our clients with accurate and up-to-date information on current incentives and funding programming.
