Up To $5,000 Available for SME's Hiring Interns

The Venture for Canada - Hire an Intern (VFC-HI) program aims to support Canadian start-ups and SMEs in the hiring of talented and innovative students. Proposed jobs for students under this program must develop innovation skills and add value to the organization in either a full or part-time capacity. 

Funding Details

  • Interns may be funded for up to 20 weeks to a maximum subsidy of $5,000 per student, per term
  • Wages for interns must be at least $15.00/hr, and average wages under the program are $18.50/hr.
