This program provides guaranteed loan financing and grant funding to agricultural producers and rural small businesses for renewable energy systems or to make energy efficiency improvements. Agricultural producers may also apply for new energy efficient equipment and new system loans for agricultural production and processing.

The Forest Service makes up to $1 billion available in Urban and Community Forestry competitive grants for investments that:  

• Increase equitable access to the urban tree canopy and associated human health, environmental and economic benefits in disadvantaged communities
• Broaden community engagement in local urban forest planning
• Improve community and urban forest resilience to climate change, pests and storm events through best management and maintenance practices

$700 Million AVAILABLE for projects that Accelerate electrified and alternative fuel transportation systems across america!

The CFI Program will accelerate an electrified and alternative fuel transportation system that is convenient, affordable, reliable, equitable, accessible, and safe. The CFI Program will also help put the U.S. on a path to a nationwide network of at least 500,000 EV chargers by 2030 and improve networks for vehicles using hydrogen, propane, and natural gas.

grants Up to $25 Million AVAILABLE for projects that improve road safety!

The purpose of the Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) grant program is to improve roadway safety by significantly reducing or eliminating roadway fatalities and serious injuries. The program focuses on the development of a comprehensive safety action plan and its implementation for all users of our highways, streets, and roadways, including pedestrians, bicyclists, public transportation users, motorists, personal conveyance and micromobility users, and commercial vehicle operators. The program provides funding to develop tools to strengthen a community’s approach to roadway safety and save lives and prevent serious harm.

$31 Million AVAILABLE in funding for ranchers and Farmers across America!

The Value Added Producer Grant program helps agricultural producers enter into value added activities related to the processing and/or marketing of bio-based, value-added products. Generating new products, creating and expanding marketing opportunities, and increasing producer income are the goals of this program. 

$111 Million AVAILABLE in funding for Wildlife Crossing Infrastructure

The Wildlife Crossings Pilot Program (Wildlife Crossings Program) is a competitive grant program with the goal of reducing Wildlife Vehicle Collisions (WVCs) while improving habitat connectivity for terrestrial and aquatic species.

In creating the Wildlife Crossings Program, Congress found that there are more than 1,000,000 WVCs annually which present a danger to human safety and wildlife survival, cost over $8 billion, and result in approximately tens of thousands of serious injuries and hundreds of fatalities on U.S. roadways.
