The Housing-Enabling Core Servicing stream is a funding initiative under the Municipal Housing Infrastructure Program. It aims to support municipalities in building, maintaining, and repairing municipal roads, bridges, and culverts to unlock housing opportunities and ensure reliable infrastructure. The program offers $400 million over three years, with applications due by 4:59 p.m. (EST) on October 18, 2024.

$4 Billion in FUNDING TO increase the housing supply in Canada!

Funding from the second round of the Housing Accelerator Fund is available only to previous applicants who were not approved in the 2023 application window.

The application window will reopen for previous applicants who weren’t approved, starting from July 15, 2024, to September 13, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. PST.

The Housing Accelerator Fund (HAF) program aims to provide financial support to local governments across Canada in hopes to encourage the implementation of initiatives that will boost housing development and increase supply. The HAF will also support the development of complete, low-carbon and climate-resilient communities that are affordable, inclusive, equitable and diverse.
