The BC Manufacturing Jobs Fund, a new initiative by the Government of B.C., will allocate up to $90 million over a period of three years to support high-value industrial and manufacturing projects. These projects aim to promote clean and inclusive growth in rural, remote and Indigenous communities. The BC Manufacturing Jobs Fund will assist established for-profit organizations in planning and implementing shovel-ready projects that will provide direct benefits and stable, family-sustaining employment opportunities to regional and Indigenous communities.

The Supply Management Processing Investment Fund (SMPIF) helps processors of supply-managed commodities adapt to market changes resulting from the implementation of the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) and the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP).

Funding OverviewThe Poultry and Egg On-Farm Investment Program (PEFIP) aims to help supply-managed poultry and egg producers adapt to market changes resulting from the implementation of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP). The program supports on-farm investments in:
- Increasing efficiency or productivity
- Improving on-farm food safety and biosecurity
- Improving environmental sustainability
- Responding to consumer preferences (improving animal welfare, adopting alternative housing systems, transitioning to organic production, etc.)
The Government of British Columbia is investing $33 million to establish the Rural Economic Diversification and Infrastructure Program (REDIP). The REDIP offers three program streams, Economic Diversification, Economic Capacity and Forest Impact Transition, to assist local governments in transitioning and diversifying their local economies.
The Building Sustainable Communities Program fosters thriving sustainable communities. Grant assistance in partnership with other funders will leverage investments to provide a high quality of life for Manitobans.
